Students enrolled in COMM 100 and COMM 101 are able to utilize the Speech Lab, which provides free communication coaching by volunteers from Mason’s top-ranked forensics team in one of the presentation practice rooms in Mason libraries. The Writing Center offers free writing support to Mason students. They provide individual tutoring on the Fairfax and Arlington campuses. Tutors are undergraduate and graduate students, who work with writers through all stages of the writing process.

To make an appointment, visit their web site at writingcenter.gmu.edu, create an account, and log on to the online scheduler. Please take some time to become acquainted with their policies, too.

Tutoring in undergraduate statistics courses is available beginning the second week of each semester through the Statistics Department Tutoring Center located in the Engineering Building, Room 1716.

The Math Tutoring Center has 9 graduate Assistants and 13 Undergraduate Assistants to help you.

Free tutoring is available on a walk-in basis for all George Mason students enrolled in math courses up to MATH 290.

Hours: Monday-Thursday, 10:30AM-9:30PM and Friday, 10:30AM-3:30PM
