I want students to know that Learning Services is a hub for students to work on their academic skills. We are here to help you work through difficult assignments, papers, and exams. And to help you form better study habits.

How would you describe your learning style?
I would describe my learning style as diverse; I like to learn in different ways. Sometimes I read, listen, move around, act by explaining concepts to an imaginary audience, etc.

What are your academic challenges?
I struggle with procrastination.

How do you overcome those challenges?
To overcome my procrastination I break work down into manageable bits and make a study schedule. I also use reframing to break down the mental block that causes my procrastination.

How do you use that experience to help students?
I put myself into students’ shoes all the time listening to their needs and preferences and then thinking of how I would get my work done under those circumstances.

Hobbies & Interests
I like to watch movies and crime or comedy shows. I also like to write poetry and run. In addition, I LOVE ice-cream, can do a wicked-witch laugh, and have been on a plane over 15 times.

Future Goals
I hope to make some sort of change in this world that people would remember me by in good faith. I am not sure what it is yet but I think it will have something to do with education.
