Spring Break

Spring Break

By Marissa Malone | Friday, March 7th, 2025

We made it to spring break, Patriots! Congratulations on making it through the first half of the semester, time sure is flying by. Spring break is a time to rest, relax, and take a break from the hustle and bustle of college student life. Some students choose to spend their week-long break with friends and family, others may travel to a different state to enjoy the sunshine and good weather, and others may choose to take it easy and stay local.

While spring break provides us with much needed time off from school, it can be a great time to reflect on the first half of the semester: how did midterms go? How confident do I feel in my ability to pass all of my classes? Do I need to change any of my study habits? These are just some of the things you can ask yourself as this is a perfect time to check in with yourself and see how you’re doing without the looming pressure of 11:59pm deadlines.

When considering your goals and habits for the remainder of the semester, it can be helpful to meet with an academic coach, who can help you create goals, formulate a plan to achieve them, and hold you accountable through weekly meetings. Enjoy the week off, Patriots!
