Note Taking 

The Cornell Note Taking Method works by utilizing the space on a page to take effective and organized notes. Take notes as you usually would in the largest section of the page, such as definitions, phrases, bullets, diagrams, formulas, etc. 

After you have taken notes, fill in the vertical space with keywords and questions that arise from the notes, or make notes on the material to connect it back to a previous lecture. 

The space at the bottom is reserved for a summary of the lecture, space to write questions, and/or to double check something.
